Need a fun and safe place to have your pup play during the day? Our new daycare facility includes a 1750 sq ft astroturf yard, a 1250 sq ft temperature-controlled indoor playroom, and a nap room with spacious kennels!
Typical daycares may have a “big dog” and “small dog” room, but every dog that shows up that day is thrown into those groups together. We like to get to know your dog before introducing them to others. On the first outing, they will be let out alone so they get plenty of time to sniff the place out and become comfortable. Then we will temperament test them to get to know them a little better. From there we can pick out some friends to introduce them to. We will only have your dog out with dogs that are similar in size or activity level. We like to keep our playgroups small and under control. The maximum number of dogs we can have out together is 15, but we can do groups as small as two dogs if that’s what’s best for your pup!
Typically, dogs can sleep up to 15 hours a day! Long and frequent periods of constant physical and mental stimulation can be detrimental to a dogs overall well-being. Our group play is broken up by multiple nap periods. Our scheduled on/off play will keep your dog exercised and happy, as well as rested and mentally healthy. A well-balanced pup is a well-behaved pup!
Socialize, socialize, socialze! Trainers can’t say it enough to new puppy parents. Daycare is a great way to introduce puppies to other dogs. We like to take things slow and puppy groups will start with one other dog at a time and move up to a few others as your puppy is ready for it. We want to work at the puppy’s pace instead of throwing them into a large group and overwhelming them.
Adult dogs that need help with socialization are treated the same way. They will only be out with dogs specifically picked to best suit their individual needs. We will start slow, and if your dog is ready for it we will work our way up to bigger groups. If your dog prefers to be one-on-one, we will stick with that.
Need a place for your dog to come during the day but they don’t play well with others? No problem! Your pup will get individual let outs and will enjoy being the center of our attention during the day.
We want you to know how your dog is doing at daycare. We send daily report cards with a picture and update of how their day went! We always want to keep open communication with how your dog is behaving while they’re with us. Group play isn’t for every dog. If we don’t think your dog is doing well at daycare for any reason, we are always going to let you know.
